Sarah Kay Napier has been making art since she was old enough to hold a crayon to the wall.
Sarah draws inspiration from nature, architecture, gardening, obscure Asian toys, mid-century fashion and pretty much anything else that she happens across that stimulates her senses. She has an incredible talent for identifying and personifying the spectrum of human experience and emotion, the result of which inspires viewers to challenge the perception of their environment. Her favorite mediums are colored pencil and pen on paper but she also paints, makes wood block prints, sews, knits, felts, decoupages, stencils and draws in the dirt with sticks.
Sarah is a full time mom and artist, a dirty hippie and a decent cook. She loves drinking exorbitant amounts of coffee, shopping at Asian food stores and listening to old records.
